Fantastic Victorian Enamelled Vaseline Uranium Glass Oil Lamp, Walsh Shade, 63cm

Description: One absolutely fabulous vaseline oil lamp, finished with some gilding, enamelled decoration of flowers, a bird and a butterfly. Absolutely no damage atall, only age related wear. No chips, no cracks. Very rare to still have intact makers literature to the base, however I can't read it. Wear wise, 99% of the enamelling is intact, alot of the gilding has rubbed though. Nothing detracting atall. Burner is duplex, both period correct and also in perfect condition. Early no snuffer model, made by Wright & Butler. Old wicks included for uk buyers only. Chimney is a modern replacement, correct in shape and size. No damage. Shade I believe to be by Walsh & Walsh, also in perfect condition, suits the lamp very well.
