The Reverse depicts Washington before Boston, and the Lettering reads: HOSTIBUS PRIMO FUGATIS (For the frist time the enemies are put to flight) , around, and BOSTONIUM RECUPERATUM (Boston Recovered) / XVII MARTII (17 of March) / MDCCLXXVI (1776) DU VIV, beneath.
