The Telecaster Deluxe, released in 1972 as the top model of the Telecaster family, was Fender's first solid-body guitar equipped with two humbuckers. The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe features the same specs as the original, including a Stratocaster-style large head, comfortable back cut, a wide-range humbucker mounted on the pickguard, dual volume and tone controls, and a three-way toggle switch on the upper horn. The wide-range humbucker revives the CuNiFe magnet that was discontinued in 1981, beautifully recreating the original sound. The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe features a 1975 “C”-shaped maple neck and a maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, reminiscent of the playability of an instrument from that time. This model is equipped with a convenient Bullet-style truss rod nut located on the headstock, a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt, a six-saddle hardtail bridge, stainless steel block saddles, and Tele Deluxe tuning machines that faithfully reproduce the specifications of the time. The alder body is available in three colors: Black, Mocha Brown, and 3-Color Sunburst.
