Justin Meldal Johnsen is well-known as a multi-genre musician and producer, and this instrument was developed based on the 1967 Mustang bass that he uses in the studio and on stage. This is a lineup commonly known as Fender Mexico, manufactured at the Ensenada Factory in Baja California. The slightly flat 9.5-inch radius fingerboard with rolled edges and the 30-inch short scale neck combine to provide an excellent playing feel. The Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish reproduces the vintage feel of a guitar that has been used for many years, and it is equipped with a custom-designed Seymour Duncan split-coil pickup.
