Description: This is a 1 of a kind Fender Newporter Avril Lavigne prototype/ sample. Flat black with binding vs the retail gloss black version. I bought this years ago from a former Fender employee who said at the time that Avril gave her this guitar when she was Visiting the Fender offices in Scottsdale, AZ. I have no way to say if that is true or not, but it is an interesting story. See email from Fender when I inquired about this guitar. It is truly one of a kind and you will not find another. Plays really easy and well, sounds great through an amp especially. I have played this guitar for years and have truly enjoyed it being a telecaster player.
