Description: Yep. This one's weird. Heavily modded. A huge section of the body was routed out, shielded with copper, and is now filled with hollow, Christmas-ornament-like balls. If I hadn't purchased the whole guitar (serial# 393704) from the original owner, I'd have a hard time determining this was at one time a Fender. You can see some of the original blonde color where the neck plate would go. Same with the bridge. Other clues are the output jack and strap buttons. Looks like the bottom strap button was moved. The pickguard, clear cover on the top, and "pickguard" on the back were all cut by hand. Right now the balls are rattling around, but once electronics are added they don't move. I haven't removed the back "pickguard" to see what atrocities lie beneath. There's a small crack in the wood (pictured) near the bottom strap button. The paint is a (fun) mess. I think I'm looking at excess paint (or possibly body fill?) at the neck pocket. As ridiculous as this thing is, it'll work perfectly and be a great build. Not surprisingly, it's pretty light. But please be aware that everything about this body is cosmetically off; cracks in the clear plastic, missing screws, uneven paint, rough-cut pickguards, etc. Ships to lower 48. No international. No P.O. boxes. No trades.
