Description: This is a custom, one-off, fighting/show knife,13-inches in length and a 7.25-inch blade made from a high-quality Farrier's Rasp/W2 Steel, by Two Charlie's (C2). The blade has a plain edge and a modified clip point with one side semi-finished with the fine part of the rasp and the other side semi-finished with the coarse side of the rasp. These blades can be difficult to make, especially to look this nice. The handle is made of smoothed and polished water buffalo horn with red epoxy spacers and features a big brass guard (sword-like), with a solid brass butt. The knife was completely handmade from tip to butt and the blade was ground, honed, sanded down & sharpened from a rasp and polished to a mirror-like finish. C2/Two Charlie's knives are usually made from farrier rasps, the older, high-quality ones, which are usually W1 or W2 steel. This knife is very robust, stout, solid and thick (handle and blade). Actually feels very good in hand, better than one might think by just seeing it. 1/4'' thick at the thickest part of blade. 1 1/2'' wide at widest part of blade. I don't know if C2/Two Charlie's are in business anymore, but their knives very rarely show up and they made some good ones. This one is about 10-12 years old, came directly from them and has been in my collection. No sheath came with it (Came in a black leather wrap). Has to be seen in person to be appreciated because everything is thick, heavy duty and polished. It is a very prominent and imposing, shiny, showy and "wow' knife. Very unusual and unique. Sharp original maker's edge. The materials are of high quality because I have only polished this knife, twice, since owning it (11-15 years).
