Description: This 2002 version of the Fiji 10 Dollar banknote was released by the Reserve Bank of Fiji. It comes in a combination of purple, orange, blue, and green. Featured on the obverse are Queen Elizabeth II, a Kikau bird, the coat of arms of Fiji, and an Optically Variable Device. The back of the paper bill displays two men standing on a poling bilibili (raft) and a boy seated in a thatched shelter. It also shows four children playing in the river with mountains and a village on the shore in the background. Flowers are also visible at the bottom right. The 156 x 67 mm note is equipped with a registration device in the form of a domodomo (canoe masthead), a windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and a domodomo, and a watermark that reveals the bust of a Fijian. This 10 Dollar banknote carries the signature of Governor Savenaca Narube and is in About Uncirculated condition.
