Description: An antique/vintage probably c1920s Chinese deeply hand carved wood i.e, treen trinket or jewellery box measuring approximately 7.85 in (200 mm) x 4.75 in (120 mm) and standing 3 in (76 mm) high.The lid has 2 strong brass hinges and is deeply carved with a mythical beast or 4-toed dragon in high relief (unusually face on).The remainder of the box has bamboo, geometric and other decoration to all sides.The 2 -section interior of the box has sides and a divider which can all be removed separately.The box is in very good condition overall with no real damage and would make a lovely decorative addition to anyones collection, display or for use etc.......
