Description: This is for a Fine Scale Miniatures #190 HO Scale “R. Schramm Mfg. Co” kit. This kit builds up into one of George Sellios’ more unique manufacturing facilities. It’s a super-detailed model of a woodworking industry that manufactured shipping crates, pallets, skids, wooden boxes and a forklift. Many of which are scattered around the diorama on the docks, sheds, etc. The interiors of two building are detailed using metal casings, and some sawdust. It can be built with removable roofs to highlight the interiors. This kit included five separate buildings each one a jewel by itself, an office, warehouse, woodworking shop, storage shed, and a sawdust shed. When I built mine I found it quite easy to get some stripwood and build lots more pallets. Including a full truck load of pallets leaving the loading dock. As FSM kits go, this one is both fun and relatively easy to build. But take your time to end up with an outstanding set of buildings for your layout. As designed it is 12” x 26 1/2”. But, if your pressed for space they can be arranged in a variety of ways. I listed the condition as used because it is an older kit and the box shows some signs or wear. But the kit is complete, undamaged, and all castings, wood, and instructions are present. So it's like a new kit except for the box wear. It has been stored in a smoke free environment.
