Description: Here we have a beautiful exquisitely carved antique Indian small lidded trinket box depicting a deity on top possibly the Goddess Shiva or Lord Vishnu /Lakshmi? Not sure of the wood ? If anyone knows the deity I would be pleased to hear in messages.. Please see pics the workmanship on this small item really has to be appreciated I think the wood is probably sandalwood but I am not an expert in the woods used so buyer to decide but it is certainly well carved ..
