Description: Single piece chocolate mold in very heavy cast pewter. Imprint of a rabbit leaping through the forest and it's about 4.5" long and 2" deep. It's certainly an early mold, probably late 19th century and I purchased it with a collection of Springlerle molds that were of this period. No sign of a makers mark and no sign that it had a hinge or second piece. Unsure if its American or German. It's beautiful!
