This board is meant for DIY enthusiasts who want to build their own system to eliminate the need for someone filming their drag racing finish line to determine the winners. This is a logic board only and does not include power source, sensors, lights, or protective enclosure; all of which are required for proper operation. The Finish Line Judge is designed to work with 10-17v DC power sources. It should be used with photoelectric sensors and led lights designed to work at the voltage your power source supplies. The Finish Line Judge is compatible with most industrial DC photoelectric sensors including Normally Open, Normally Closed, NPN, and PNP units. The most common power source for this board is readily available 4S lithium polymer batteries.
