Durand’s life goal was to make fancy and beautiful art glass like Tiffany or Baccarat and this piece was one of his first luxury designs! The pitcher is in a brilliant ruby red and the peacock design is one of the best versions on the market—many of the Durand peacock designs available are not as expertly spaced as this particular pitcher is. This pitcher was undoubtedly blown by one of the top glass workers at Durand! In addition to its symmetrical and stunning design, the pitcher is in phenomenal condition with no chips or cracks visible! It is truly a sight to behold! Pitcher is approximately 7.75 inches tall and 7 inches across.
