Description: Florence Ceramics - Eugenia (Purple). Beautiful vintage Florence Ceramics Eugenia figure wearing a striking purple dress and stands at 9” and 7” wide. She is in excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks or crazing noted. Also there are no repair areas. Interesting history of the beginnings of Florence Ceramics: Florence Ward started her ceramic work as a hobby in her garage in 1942. Florence Ceramics are known for attention to details ie: delicate fingers, thin flowers pedals and leaves, ringlets of hair and lace accents to name a few. Each piece is marked with a ink stamp that identifies Florence Ceramics. Many of the pieces had names and different color variations ie: hair and dress colors. Eugenia is truly a special piece of art. I purchased her at a estate auction and happily was able to obtain several pieces which I will be posting soon. She is a RARE FIND. She is hand painted.
