Description: "The Alcazar." This photo comes from the collection of someone I only know as "Mrs. Bowles." She may very well have been May Hatton (formerly Bowles), but I've been unable to confirm. The photographer's name is unknown to me, but I believe she was a woman. She traveled all over the United States and Cuba, capturing extremely beautiful images that you're unlikely to find elsewhere. Measures about 4 x 5.5 inches. Unfortunately much of the collection was destroyed by water damage, but I've managed to preserve a limited number of photos. Each image has been carefully cut from an antique album, cleaned, and preserved in an acid-free sleeve. For the genealogists and historians who want to dig deeper, I'll mention some names that were noted throughout other photos from the collection: Georgia & Fred Blakeley, Mildred Adams, Harold & Marion Nichols, Father & Mother Hatton, Ruth Brohm, Thomas Allen, Milo Freeman, George Van Pelt, Ollie Radcliffe, C. S. Wortley, J. M. Ely La Follette, May Milburn, Lara Chandler, Judge Rockefeller, Lillian Hughes, R. B. Hughes, Beatrice Bailey, May Brohm, Wadsworth Rogers, George Van Pelt, C. C. La Folette. One image I found credited "A. E. Moody" as the photographer and that image was taken in Cuba at the same time that Reverend Arnold Edwin Moody would have lived there.
