Description: John Maddock & Sons LTD Royal Vitreous England 1880-1896 Plate or Dish - Classic Blue and White Flow Blue - Staffordshire England - cobalt blue and white hand painted pottery with gold highlights - oval shape with wavy rim - the color is actually deeper than it may appear in the photos - plate has some depth as shown in the photos. I did notice, one of the scrolls is partially painted and it is very difficult to see in the busy pattern it is shown in the last photo. The blue is flowing through to the back side along with a couple of gold spots as well.
