Lot x 2 Gift Books. Published c. 1880's, United States & U.K. by various. 2 books, each c. 10-22 pages. Text in English. Illustrated throughout. Attractive publisher's card stock wrappers with ribbon ties (one ribbon is broken and loose). Both covers appear to have original hand water coloring. Lot is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Bindings gently age worn but still appealing, lot remains overall attractive as physical objects of this era. Text block paper is age toned as typical, internally book remains mostly clean and sound, the oblong Violet one is obviously shaken due to the loose ribbon tie. A lot which has been taken care of but does not look like a new book. This is an antique old lot which has been handled over the past many decades. Still attractive on the shelf. Lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
