Description: This is a specimen of hydrozincite from an uncommon locality: the Utah Mine in the Fish Springs Mining District, Juab County, Utah. The hydrozincite is nicely fluorescent sky blue under shortwave (SW, 254/255 nm) UV, and occurs as a white crust over most sides of the specimen. The dimensions are about 111x106x39 mm and the mass is 498 g (weight: 1 lb 1 oz). Note that you will need a filtered UV source of the proper wavelength (255/254 nm shortwave) to fully enjoy this specimen. I can combine shipping, just let me know.
