Description: LONG WAVE UV This a cut and polished cabochon of purple and green Brecciated fluorite from St Peters Dome, Colorado. Interesting specimen for certain. I acquired it from the fellow who collected it and then did the cut and polish. He did a nice job in my opinion. The back side was left natural. It fluoresces blue under long wave UV light. 58 grams 2-1/2" in length by 1-1/2" width. The ultraviolet photos above were taken under LW 365nm UV convoy2 flashlight.
