It is made with a ½” thick 2500 degree ceramic inner layer, so it has no problems cutting down heat. The up-pipe blanket will fit most all stock and aftermarket up pipes, however it does not have a cut out for the EGT bung. If you prefer to use y9our EGT you can lace and maneuver the blanket in such a way that it will work around the EGT. The blankets are all handmade with the finest of materials. Our blankets are made of high temperature ceramic insulation and a high temperature shell, they are bound together with very high temperature thread (something the cheap blankets skimp on causing them to fall apart). All together we have made a blanket that will resist direct temps of 2500 degrees. Our heat blankets are easy to install and are very durable for keeping the heat in and increasing exhaust velocity in turn creating horsepower by helping the turbo spool up quicker.
