Description: We have listed a Ford ZF 6-Speed manual transmission. We have gas, 7.3 diesel, 2 and 4 wheel drive transmissions. All of our transmissions are remanufactured to the highest quality and come with a 12 month warranty. ALL OF OUR TRANSMISSIONS ARE DYNO TESTED BEFORE THEY LEAVE OUR SHOP. All of the internal hard parts are treated including gears, hubs, sliders, bearings, and races. What does Cryogenic Treatment do to gears? Gears are made of steel and when steel is brought down to cryogenic temperatures, it changes on a molecular level. The metal is frozen to the core and the molecules which were haphazardly positioned are now compressed, have taken a crystalized shape, and now line up with one another. The frozen gears are gradually brought back to room temperature and the molecules spread back out evenly, but they maintain their new crystalized shape and continue to face the same direction. This is much too small to see with the naked eye, of course, but it does noticeably change the appearance of the gear. Even though the gear was smooth and reflective before, after treatment, the gear has a mirror like appearance and the surface is extremely slick. The molecules originally face different directions. As a result, scratches and wear could break those bonds, leading to chipped or rounded gears. Freezing these molecules will cause them to huddle up, arms linked, shoulder-to-shoulder, and face one direction. Now, it becomes much harder to break their bonds or to chip, scratch and round the gears. It will increase the strength and wear by more than 50%. Returned cores must be complete and the cases must not be broken to get a full core refund. Our warranty is 12 months unlimited miles. The warranty does not cover abuse such as broken teeth due to heavy towing or the unit being run low or without oil for any reason including, but not limited to oil not being installed at the time of installation, leaks, or the wrong oil installed. Warranty does not cover shipping after 14 days of purchase. Warranty does not cover R&R labor, towing costs, or any other costs or damages that may occur.
