The description relates how the Northwest Company built this fort on Lake Superior to deal with the Indians in furs. The Indians were employed as hunters and sold the furs to the company. Print is not dated but looks to be late 1800s to early 1900s. The backing is a heavy cardboard , the print is enclosed and can not be removed. The upper left corner has a remarque.
