Description: For Sale are four vintage Japanese Silk Paintings from the 1950s. The image area on all four silk paintings is in excellent condition. My mother brought these back from Japan when my father was stationed there in 1953. All paintings are original, hand-painted on silk. The image area measures 16” x 13”, and three are signed. Descriptions 1 Mountain Stream – The image area is excellent but not signed. 2 Mt. Fuji Stream Red – The image area is excellent and signed. However, some edge separations would not be visible if framed 15” x 13”. 3 Mt. Fuji Fishing Boats - The image area is excellent and signed. However, there is a small water stain (see photo 6). 4 Mt. Fuji Bridge - The image area is excellent and signed. However, some edge separations would not be visible if framed 14” x 13”. These Japanese hand-painted silk images typically list between $25 and $50 each. I am selling all four for $60 OBO with free shipping. All four will be sent in one cardboard tube. Due to the delicate nature and age of the silk paintings, I cannot accept returns.
