Description: FOUR Ink Bottles c.1900 - c.1950's.These are four ink bottles dating from c.1900-1950s. Clockwise in photo 1. 1. This is a shear lip bottle is c.1900. It is octagonal (8 sided) bottle green glass. It has the rough shear lip neck top and has a large chip out of the neck, see Photo. Approx. 4.3 cm x 5.9 cm. 2. This medium size ink bottle is blue/green glass. In good condition but has slight chip on lip, see photo. There is a Tri-angle makers mark on base. Approx. 5.5 cm x 6.1 cm. 3. This is a large clear glass ink bottle. The base has a central " SWAN " Mark and " MABIE TODD & Co Ltd. LONDON " round the edge. Appox. 6.95 cm x 7.0 cm. 4. This small ink bottle is clear glass and has a neck that probably was closed by a cork. The base is marked " INKS 24 / HIGGINS' BROOKLYN . N. Y. " Approx. 4.4 cm x 4.7 cm. Four interesting old ink bottles.
