The drawings for the engravings are by Jacques Barraband, the finest ornithological artist of his time. This beautiful print is framed in complimentary French matting with hand drawn French details, watercolor wash panel and marble paper strips. It is professionally framed in a burl veneer with gold ripple details. The glazing is a high quality UV protective acrylic, so there is no concern for breaking or fading.
