The verso (reverse side) is blank. The images on the print are of an exceptional quality and detail. Its' text is in German. The lithograph illustrates the dress of the following: a) French Nobility in Court Dress b) French Nobility in Court Dress c) Dutch Middle-Class Dress d) French Cavaliers The entire piece measures: 13-3/8" x 17" (34 x 43,2cm). This large sheet is folded in the middle. It was once bound in book form and bears evidence of this along the fold at the back, where the paper is thinned just below the centerfold seam. There are two 1/4" tears to the top and bottom edges. These have been neatly mended from the back with a thin, archival quality paper tape that is not visible on the front. The page is tanned due to age but is clean and the colors are bright. There is no foxing (little brown age spots). Odor-free. Smoke-free. Overall condition is: VERY GOOD.
