Description: This auction is for Frank Leslie’s Illustrated “Historical Register of the Centennial Exposition, 1876”. The book opens with a great five-page (no photograph don’t want to damage) black and white foldout “Bird’s-Eye View of Fairmount Park Showing Centennial Buildings Under Construction, City of Philadelphia and Surrounding Country” followed by a beautiful full page colored lithograph highlighting the Centennial. There is a copy of the “Declaration of Thirteen United States of America” and three colored pages of the “Flags of All Nations”. The remaining pages chronicle the “Exhibitions of the World” in black and white lithographs and text. The book consists of 64 pages. The binding is strong, and the pages are clean and undamaged. The book is complete and measures approximately 16.5” in height by 11.5” in and is in very good condition. Please review the photographs to confirm the condition.
