Description: Frank Lloyd Wright might be one of the best known architects in America. Liberty Graphics once carried a line of shirts authorized by the Frank Lloyd Foundation. This was discontinued some years ago and I have limited new inventory from that FLW Collection.The imperial Hotel, constructed 1913-1922 in Tokyo, Japan, was one of FLW's largest and most extravagant projects. A long time admirer of Japanese art and architecture, Wright personally designed nearly every detail of the opulent hotel including rugs, furniture, lighting and peacock murals. The peacock motif appeared throughout the hotel. This design is an adaptation of a detail from the Imperial Hotel banquet hall peacock motif. Liberty graphics is known for attention to detail, consistent quality and concern for the environment. To acknowledge the last they use water based inks that are long lasting on the shirt but easier on the environment. Made from 100% cotton knit fabric, this shirt is preshrunk, heavyweight, non-iron, wrinkle-resistant, and suitable for all seasons.
