Description: Frank Lloyd Wright might be one of the best known architects in America. Liberty Graphics once carried a line of shirts authorized by the Frank Lloyd Foundation. This was discontinued some years ago and I have limited new inventory from that FLW Collection. Other than for his buildings, FLW is best known for his art glass designs and furniture. His philosophy of connecting the natural world and architecture is brought literally to light in his windows. Calling them "light screens", he often incorporated architectural themes from nature with selected views of the outside world. This design from an early Wright drawing, with it's graceful geometric pattern of flowers and lily pads floating on a tranquil pond, was never actually realized in glass. Liberty graphics is known for attention to detail, consistent quality and concern for the environment. To acknowledge the last they use water based inks that are long lasting but easier on the environment. Made from 100% cotton knit fabric, this shirt is preshrunk, heavyweight, non-iron, wrinkle-resistant, and suitable for all seasons.
