Description: Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd President of the United States, and served from 1933-1945. A Memorial to him was dedicated in 1997 and included statues of him, his wife Eleanor, and his Scottish terrier, Fala. FDR is the only US President to have served more than two terms in office, the first two dedicated to lifting the US out of the Great Depression, and the second two terms were dedicated to oversee the US involvement in WWII. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage while sitting for a formal portrait in the White House during the fourth term in April,1945, at the age of 63.
