Dave Sawyer Campaign - Gulf War 1991 - Sawyer's aircraft was battle damaged on three separate occasions, one being the "Golden BB" hitting the front windscreen and the last being the infamous "300 holes" as a result of an SA-16 exploding near it on 15 Feb. 1991 that hit both rudders and sheared off the right elevator. It was back in the air flying in seven days. Markings - dark green with various detail including sharksmouth in white, black and red with H on nose, USAF markings including unit insignia on blue shield and EL AF80186 in black on tail with unit insignia for 23rd TFW. Reclining woman in red and white near cockpit with names of pilots (Plt Cpt Dave Sawyer, DCC Tsgt Rodger Sizemore, and ACC Sgt Joseph Arvant. Comes with armament and attachable cockpit cover.
