Description: Outstanding 1969 surreal abstract etching abstract etching, "Demain" ("Tomorrow"), by listed French artist Francois Bealu (1932-2020). Primarily a printmaker, Bealu has been exhibiting regularly at major museums worldwide and his work is in numerous major collections. An impression of the print offered here is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This etching is signed lower right and dated 1969 and is numbered 40/50 lower left.
