Description: Fratelli Reguitti Italian Valet Stand A valet stand designed by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Requitti, produced I believe in the 1960s. Ideal for small apartments being very light, compact, and practical. Made from teak and set on small casters, with a hanger for your jacket and shirt, a separate rail for trousers, shoes on the lowest rungs, a retractable 'ear' for ties/belts, a tray for wallet and phone and swivel trays for coins etc. Their REGUITTI marking is on the right of the shelf. A wonderfully clever design by Parisi, practical and very stylish today. The valet will be flat-packed for shipping: the jacket holder and base removed, re-assembly is easy and simple requiring just a screwdriver for tightening, easy. Ico Parisi (Domenico Parisi 1916–1996) was an Italian architect and designer, based in Como. He designed furniture as well as numerous decorative art objects using materials such as ceramics and glass. Size: about 106 cm high, 45 cm across the coat holder, base is 34 x 40 cm, weight ±3.6 Kg Condition Outstanding vintage condition, with everything as it should be. The stand has been cleaned, the finish revived and all scuffs removed. The timber presents as near new, with a small split at the base of one leg which should present no problems. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting.
