Description: I have to admit that I have a certain fondness for these French Art Deco wrought iron pieces, and this footed bowl is no exception. I love the orange glass which was so popular at that time. The glass bowl can't be removed from the wrought iron frame. This piece is in original condition, not having been repainted as the French often do as part of the restoration process. Many American collectors prefer to have the piece as original as possible, and I'm one of them. I love seeing the imperfections in an antique piece as they show me that it's the genuine article. The first three photographs may look like the same view, but they're actually all different, each one showing the bowl from one arm to the next. This Art Deco treasure is in very good condition with no chips or cracks in the glass insert. It is signed by the manufacturer, Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE AR-SA Muller Frères Lunéville, on the side of the glass insert (refer to picture 12). Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE AR-SA This centerpiece measures 7 1/4" in height, and the diameter of the metal base is 5 3/4". The glass bowl measures 9 3/4" across.
