Description: Circa 1890-1900, small indices and flesh colored faces on Court Cards. This French plaing card set is by Grimaud and called Louis XV dating from the 1890s. The box in the pictures is just a vintage holder for the cards, the box does not go with the set. Playing card back shows lovely rose bouquet with decorative background and decorative corners and borders. Cards have been well protected inside, are in outstanding condition, and appear to have seen very little use. Gold gilt edging still very bright and shiny. Includes one blank card with the same flower print back. Very slight discoloration or soiling in the white borders. A very nice deck that would make a great addition to your collection.
