The Neurdein Brothers (Frères Neurdein), Etienne (1832-1918) and Louis-Antonin (1846-1914), were French photographers. They initially worked with their father, photographer Jean César Adolphe Neurdein (1806-1867), who went by the psudonym Charlet, and then ventured out on their own in 1868. By 1875 they had formed a successful postcard publishing house. While Etienne directed the photo studio and specialized in portrait photography, Louis-Antonin went on many photographic expiditions, focusing on ethnographic and landscape photography in France, Algeria, Belgium and Canada. Louis-Antonin became a member of The French Photographic Society in 1884. The brothers won prizes for their work at the Exposition Universelle of 1899 and 1900.
