Description: Fun Vintage CELLULOID Face Wind-Up Toy MONKEY w/PIPE & BRIEFCASE, Japan Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE WIND-UP MONKEY TOY, AS IS Slightly creepy and oh so fun vintage 1940s or 1950s molded celluloid face wind-up Monkey toy measuring about 4-1/4" tall. Standing with long arms and hunched body, he holds a pipe in his mouth and a composition painted briefcase in one hand - unmarked, but made in Japan. Eyes are glass and body is faux fur - he does not work, has no key, and needs restoration - I think the arm was re-attached backwards so the briefcase front does not show - he has a tiny crack on the front bottom of his overbite - does not detract.
