Description: This listing is for a small, possibly 18th C., or early 19th C. German or Bohemian colorless crystal glass Pokal/goblet of hand-made 3-piece construction. It features a funnel-shaped bowl decorated with two gilt bands below the lip, being bordered above and below by evenly-spaced cold-painted white enamel beads. The teardrop-shaped stem has a slight twist and terminates at a slightly dome-shaped foot, being kicked-up slightly on its underside, where a rough pontil break is evident. The top of the foot is decorated with a gilt band that is likewise bordered above and below by evenly-spaced cold-painted white enamel beads. The overall condition of the glass is very good. The gilt bands are approximately 5% worn. The cold-painted white enamel beading is worn (refer to images). Measurements: 5 1/2” (14.0 cm) tall, 2 1/2” (6.4 cm) top outside diameter, 2 9/16” (6.5 cm) base diameter, 97 gm. The accompanying images form a part of the item description.
