Description: This is an ultra-sharp Gabriel Hughes 2022 Bowman Draft Chrome True Blue Refractor Autograph 148/150. Please see pictures for card condition, I make no guarantees on grading. Corners and edges look very sharp in person; centering is clearly shown above. The surface is absurdly clean. I don't know how he autographed it and it still looks untouched. I'm selling as NM or better but this card looks incredible to me, the only thing to nitpick is the top-bottom centering. Hughes was the 10th-overall pick by Colorado out of Gonzaga, where he vaulted up in the draft in his final season after cutting his walk rate by a third and adding depth to his slider. Hughes has the build to start, and pile up innings, and he's got a polished 3-pitch mix. Because all three of his pitches flash plus (particularly his secondaries), and he's young for his class, Hughes has frontline upside and relatively lower risk. He's started 2023 strong, no-hitting the Giants' High-A batters for 5 innings in his first start with no walks and 6 whiffs. You get the card shown, shipped USPS first-class.
