Description: GAMA 1960s OPEL KADETT B COUPE (KIEMENCOUPÉ) 1:20 PLASTIC/TINPLATE CLOCKWORK 464 Very rare model of a very rare model. This is clockwork motor powered, plastic bodied, 1:20 scale model of a 1965-70 Opel Kadett B Kiemencoupé (Gills Coupe) made by GAMA in Western Germany, circa late 1960s. GAMA model number 464 based on the rear numberplate and other models in the range. All intact with a working motor, stop/go lever, steerable front axle, detailed lithographed tinplate interior and opening bonnet with engine detail. It comes with a period-correct bare metal key that fits the shaft but is not the original. Length: 21.5cm Width: 7.7cm Height: 7cm Weight: 238g Modelled in light grey plastic with chrome bumpers/headlamps/spotlamps and rear bumper with a grey-painted tinplate base. The winding shaft is underneath between the two rear wheels and under the rear bumper there is a metal lever with a white plastic cover that functions as the stop/go switch. The model has clear glazing, with the driver’s window “wound down” a notch and red glazed rear lights. The interior and dashboard are beautifully detailed and thee is a white, 2-spoke, 2-ring steering wheel. It rolls well on treaded rubber tyres with metal “whitewall” hubs and bare-metal wheel trims (with 1 mismatched Mercedes stamped version on the rear). 📦+📦+📦=🚛 Combined shipping is available for all items (even if you’re not in the UK).
