Description: Own a piece of GPS history! Meet the Garmin StreetPilot III GPS. This thing is built like a brick and is just about as heavy. It was in a car accident once; it broke right through the windshield and kept on navigating. Still works to this day - I recently tested it and it still connects to satellites and is able to provide navigation, although the maps are very outdated. You can probably download or purchase updated maps online. Requires 6 AA batteries, batteries NOT included. The battery box had some corrosion in it that I cleaned up--please see before and after photos. I did test it with batteries in and it worked just fine. Comes with: - Main GPS unit/display screen- Dash mount that allows you to tilt the screen up or downwards, has attached sandbag weights to hold GPS in place on your dashboard. It is too big/heavy to rely on suction cups like those wimpy little GPS units use nowadays- Extra dash mount that uses sticky mounting tape to hold the GPS in place on your dashboard, if sandbags aren't your thing. - Charger cable for car (Note: Charging cable is slightly damaged; please see photos; did not test if it still works or not).- AVI cable to connect to computer ("PC cable interface")- USB Card programmer cable (note: Data Card NOT included) - City Navigator North America maps v5 and v6 - Setup CD- User manuals- Weird square black plastic thing that I am not sure the use of- Original box
