Description: This is retro computing at it's very best,it is a very rare thing a fully functional and original platform setup of the original GP6-400 Gateway 1998 platform. This customized setup it is actually a piece of computer history that should be in a museum,it can run both Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000 pretty fast and has some crazy low RAM latency for 100MHz RAM frequency as you can see in one of the pictures.The thing came out with Windows 98 but likes better Win2K and WinXP.Not to mention that it has the world's first ever Intel Pentium2 400 Deschutes 400 processor manufactured at their plant opened in 1996 inside the Gateway Business Park in Cavite,Philippines.Until now I have seen only one Costa Rica Deschutes processor younger than this one by a very low margin. Motherboard only partial functioning, unfortunately the onboard Riva ZX chip is almost gone and it will show 32 video cards in windows 2k device manager. However a Cirrus Logic CL-GD5422-750C-A ISA video card will be added(one of my best personal test cards that will run 1280x1024 but not more because it has only 1MB of RAM) in order to be able to boot the system properly.
