The tooth is in fantastic, nearly pristine condition with a very pointy tip, terrific serrations, and measures .82 inches (2.08 cm) with no repair or restoration! It comes in a 1 inch gem jar for easy transport and display! Tiger: (Galeocerdo sp.) Tiger Sharks have the most varied diet of any shark they feed on large fish, sharks, crustaceans, squid, stingrays, sea birds, marine mammals, and sea turtles. They also been known to eat garbage like license plates, boat oars, clothes, and tin cans. The first Tiger Shark evolved about 60 million years ago. The modern Tiger Shark grows up to 18 feet (5.5 meters) in length.If you spend enough time around shark tooth enthusiasts you'll probably notice a very high value placed on Chilean fossil shark teeth much more so than shark teeth of the same species, size, and quality from other regions.
