They have so much detail--decorative stitching, belt loops, interesting front pockets, back button pockets, small cargo button pockets on legs and drawstrings at the hem. They have a front zip/button closure. Measurements: Sz. 6 Pants--The elastic waist measures 34" relaxed and 37" stretched. They are 30" long with an inseam of 20½". Measuring 8" below the waist, the hips measure approx. 39". The leg openings measure 8" folded. 98% cotton/2% spandex. Machine wash/tumble dry low. Pls. measure as these run large I believe.
