Description: An unfinished genuine three-piece FENDER American Standard Stratocaster body in ash. The body is stamped with the date "Nov 07 2010" as well as #54015 which is the Fender part number for these bodies from this period. I have no idea what the "T" stamp in the pickup cavity means. The body was rated as a "B stock" because of a single worm hole in the wood on the back upper contour. See the 2nd and 3rd pictures. You can see faint pencil marks on either side of the hole where the QC inspector indicated the defect. I filled the hole with wood filler and if you look carefully, you'll see a light tan circle approximately 1/16" in diameter where the hole was. The filler makes it hardly noticeable. There is also a line of unknown origin across the grain on the upper end of the front face of the body (see photo). I don't know if Fender considered this to be a flaw or not as unlike with the worm hole, there are no pencil marks near it. Otherwise the body appears to be perfect and will look great painted or with a clear finish. As you can see, the holes for the neck bolts, micro tilt, and bridge pivot studs have been drilled. The routing is very clean and holes for the ground wire to the rear trem cavity and the the output jack have been drilled. They even drilled pilot holes for the strap buttons screws. I bought this in 2012 intending to build my "Dream Strat" but never got around to it. Continental US buyers only, please.NOTE RE: SHIPPING: Actual shipping charge to your location applies.
