Description: This stunning chainmail chaplet headdress is hand made using 19 gauge 1/4 inch diameter stainless steel rings with delicate silver-plated chain, Indian silver beads, and genuine fluorite beads. Looks equally good on all hair lengths. These photos don't do this piece justice... it really sparkles! I use saw-cut rings, which are best for applications where you want to be very particular about the finished appearance of each ring, such as with fine jewelry. A saw cut ring is made by an industrial machine that cuts a coil with a rotary saw blade. Every saw cut ring I use is deburred, polished and cleaned. Stainless steel doesn't rust and is strong and clean. The shine level of the rings can vary; it's lustre can be compared to that of a stainless steel kitchen sink. I use fine quality rings that look much like silver. Each piece is individually hand crafted and unique. One size fits all. I ship the next business day after receiving payment.
