William Middendorf II collection formed with the assistance of Warren H. Colson. Much of his collection was sold by Robert A. Siegel Auction GalleriesTM over multiple sales from which much of this material originated. In 25+ years of selling United States stamps, this is one of the very best collections (and certainly a world-class Private Die collection) in terms or both quality and depth that we have seen.
