Description: Three souvenirs made for the 1937 coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Two bowls (made by Royal Doulton and Wedgewood) and one teaplate (Royal Doulton). The Royal Doulton pieces have profiles of the king and queen against a blue background surrounded by colour decorations of flags, roses, thistles, and shamrocks. The teaplate is decorated with laurel leaves on the edge of the plate. The Wedgewood bowl has portraits of the king and queen surrounded by flags, laurel leaves, crown, and date of coronation. Gold leaf bordering on the edge of the bowl. The Royal Doulton two handled bowl measures 5.5 inches between the handles and 1 inch deep. The Wedgewood bowl measures 5.5 inches across and 1.25 inches deep. Ceramic teaplate measures 6.5 inches across. All pieces are in excellent condition. The Wedgewood bowl does have minor amount of light age related glaze crackling, which is very difficult to see, and a tiny amount of gold loss. Please see all photos to assess condition.
