This is a wine crate panel from the LANGUEDOC ROUSSILLON region of France. In 2011 The Wine Enthusiast magazine named GERARD BERTRAND their EUROPEAN WINERY OF THE YEAR! It measures about 13 1/4" X 7 3/8" and is 3/8" thick. It reads GERARD BERTRAND L'ART DE VIVRE LES VINS DU SUD with the address, phone number and web information. The brown lettering has been burned into the wood. There is an emblem with a lovely French Cross with two doves drinking on the top of the cross.Please read each panel's description below for condition: Picture 2421: There are nail holes along the right and left edges. It has several small knot holes. It is very clean with few scratches or dings. Picture 2423: There are nail holes along the right and left edges. There are some chips along the top edges and near one nail hole. It is clean with a few scratches and dings. It is not a perfect science in breaking crates down into panels. PLEASE understand you are getting a panel of a crate that has been broken down so the edges aren't perfect! You can cut it down to any size you require.
